New Moon Quote Day 7

Ok so we are officially in in the final countdown!!!!! Quotes will continue until Saturday only because that is when Jodi and I will be able to see the movie, we have tickets for a 1:00 and 5:00pm shows :)!! So we are getting close to the end and today's quote comes from when Bella is desperately trying to get to Edward in Volterra before he steps into the sunlight!!! Enjoy!!

Ok today's is a favorite of mine, and honestly I wish they would put it on a T-Shirt already, I would be all over that!! It comes from Chapter 14 when Bella meets Emily for the first time ,I love Bella's response to this...." so your the wolf girl?" I also enjoy how Bella watches all of them interact as a "family".

Today's comes from Chapter 10. Bella thinks that if she could remember how to get back to the meadow she could somehow recapture the "wholeness" that she felt there with Edward. Once there she realizes that this place too holds no comfort without him. Heart breaker.....my life to was once dull until Edward came into so I know how she feels ;)

New Moon Quote Day 4

Ahh we are getting so close I can not even handle it!!! Ok today's quote is from Chapter 6, I must start jumping otherwise I won't get done by Friday, and Bella's description of Jacob. I must say that I had a new found appreciation for Jacob after reading New Moon the 2nd time and I felt that this quote really summed it up. I really loved his innocence at the beginning. I do feel that Bella led him along all in the name of grieving, but she was just trying to hold onto something that brought joy to her. Enjoy!

SCS254 Autumn Blessings (Mass Produced)

OK so I decided to try something different, something I've never done before but have seen so many of you do....mass produce a card! I keep reminding myself that Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching and that I need cards for the family so I decided that I was going to create one and then just mass produce it...not really sure if 3 constitutes as a mass production but I am so relieved that I did not have to come up with 3 original ideas!

I used this past week's SCS Sketch, SCS254, only I flipped it to accommodate my Cornucopia. Ok so I started with a card base of So Saffron with Very Vanilla on top. I embossed the VV layer with my CB Birds and Swirls. My center panels are 2 inch squares with Washington Apple DP, I thought the pattern and name were perfect for fall, and I layered them on Chocolate Chip and popped up on dimensionals. I then took So Saffron ribbon through the middle and then placed my image on top with dimensionals as well.

My image and sentiment, both from Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions by There She Goes, were stamped with Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink on White by PaperTrey and punched out with my scallop oval punch. I pierced the scallops and colored my image with Copics.

New Moon Quote Day 3

OK so today's comes from Chapter 4 and it is more of a reflection for Bella. She is going through the motions, her friends and family think she's crazy and she's pissed thinking that Edward claims to have made a promise to her yet he broke it as soon as he made it...there is no way that life could ever be as if he never existed. My opinion? Ok yes Edward perhaps it does sound like it would be easier to move on if there were no reminders but humans have feelings and we can't just let it go so easily.

MOJO 111 Snow Place Like It

Happy Sunday!!! So it was a miserable day yesterday and I think I watched about 5 movies while making this one card....what can I say I'm easily distracted.

I just adore this set, Penguin Love, by There She Goes. I used an old Mojo sketch, MOJO 111, for the layout. I started with a card base of Aqua Mist by PaperTrey and Whisper White by SU. I embossed the White with my CB Swiss Dots. My DP is Jolly By Golly by Cosmo Cricket, which Jodi gave me a few sheets of, thanks!!

My image was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento on White by PaperTrey. I masked the penguin in front of the igloo. I used a Shin Han marker to color the igloo and copics on the penguin, the hat and scarf. I also cut the hat and scarf and popped on top of the penguin. Used stickels in Crystal color for the glittery snow. My image was cut out with my circle nesstie and then I used the next size up in the nesstie and cute the layer behind but rather than use card stock I used the other side of the DP.

My sentiment was masked too, I just love the swirl, I thought it matched the scene and DP perfectly. I used my smaller circle nesstie to cut this out and used pewter brads on the side.
