Name Card for Hospital

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great summer and are enjoying Fall.

The baby is due any day now so we are all on "Baby Watch".

I never knew that you could create your own Name Card for the babies nursery bin but Jodi (Kharmagirl) said that a lot of them had them when she just had her baby.

I decided to make one for Tyler, it will be a great keepsake. I already had this image stamped and colored, just never got around to making a card for it but obviously it was fate that I use it for Tyler. I think it came out very cute and I stamped the back with "Hand Stamped By Mommy". Once the baby comes I will upload pics and maybe just maybe finish a card by Christmas :)! I have been spending time working on his scrapbook so that's made me feel crafty.

Thinking Of You....Not The Laundry

Ahh it's Thursday but it is SO hot here...I am done with this summer heat!

My card today is with one of my favorite images. Anyone who knows me knows that I always have so much laundry to do so this cutie is near and dear to my heart. I also was going for a Grey and Red theme for this card. I have always loved when I see stampers use just use the neutrals and then one color to really pop off the card.

I started with a card base of Basic Grey, White and Real red all by SU. My DP is Cherry Hill by October Afternoon..love it! My image is HG-Laundry by The Greeting Farm. She was stamped with Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with my copics. My sentiment is Circular Sayings by Verve and was punched with my SU circle punches and mounted with dimensionals. I added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles by Taylored Expressions in Red to the corner of my image and my ribbon is SU Real Red and Basic Grey!

Happy Friday..wohoo the weekend is here! I have to admit that I am having so much fun with this animal set I found in my box of clear stamps.

For my card I started with a card base of Glorious Green, White and Chocolate Chip all by SU. I embossed the Chocolate Chip piece with my cuttle bug bubbles embossing folder. My DP is K & Co. Teal Dots.

My image is Playful Animals by Hero Arts and this croc was stamped onto White cardstock in tuxedo Black by memento Ink. I used my copics to color him and then layered him with the Chocolate Chip and added the Always Artichoke brads by SU. My final accessory in the Kraft Taffeta Ribbon and White Grosgrain Ribbon, again both by SU!

Hope you all enjoy your day!

Hip Hip Hooray!

I'm not monkeying around.....I actually got three cards done in one week! This was a fun card to come up with and to create.

I started with a card base of SU Pumpkin Pie and Choice Buttercream. My DP is Washington Apple by SU, just adore this paper! I stamped these adorable monkeys with Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto the Buttercream cardstock and colored them with my copics. I used my circle and scalloped Nesstabilities to cut them out and mounted them with Dimensionals.

My sentiment was stamped and then embossed with my Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder. I added four Very Vanilla brads and striped ribbon, both by SU.

Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday!

This is going to be a quick one tonight, I'm distracted watching Big Brother. This is a belated birthday card form my hubby.

I started with a card base of Green Galore and Whisper White by SU. DP is Lemonade by Basic Grey. My image is a Digi by The Greeting Farm which I colored with my copics and cut out with my circle Nesstabilities. I loved this image cause it reminds me of my hubby going to work in his suit and tie every day!

I also sponged very lightly some Cantaloupe by Memento Ink. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder for the background and sugar coated brads in Limeade. Thanks for looking and have a great night!

My image was stamped in tuxedo Black Ink by Memento Ink onto White cardstock. I used my copics to color and added Stickles in Star Dust to the pockets of her dress.

I used sheer polka dot ribbon and used a SU neutral button to help create the bow!

Another may Birthday Girl

Happy Sunday!! May is such a crazy & busy month for us! There are more birthday's and anniversaries than any other time and this year my sister is also graduating college so you will be seeing a lot of duplicate images..lol!!

I made this card for SIL birthday which is this Friday! I just adore these little girls, they are so sweet!

I started with a card base of Dusty Durango & White. My DP is Washington Apple by SU. My layout is one that I use all the time, I love the way it really shows the DP. My image is one of the Pure Innocence girls by MFT, My Balloon. I stamped my imaging using Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I sponged the edges with Cantaloupe Ink by Memento Ink.

Enjoy your week!

Mother's Day

Happy Tuesday one and all!!! This day has flown, can't believe it is after 5:00pm already!! Anyway, I had such high hopes for this card and I am sad to report that I am not as happy as I thought I would. When I had just the colored image I loved it!

I started with a card base of Elegant Eggplant, White and Lovely Lilac. My embossed layers are Swiss Dots and Birds and Swirls. My image is Sweet Pea by There She Goes and I stamped it in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto White cardstock and colored with my copics. I think I made the mistake when I tried sponging the edges, I just don't like how it looks and once it was done that was it!

I added a light sponging to the two panels just to blend it a little. Also I stamped my sentiment before embossing the panel and the sentiment should have gone down further, again once it was done there was no going back! Thanks for looking!

Birthday Girl

Good Sunday morning! Today's card is for a birthday party we are attending today for a very special birthday girl!

I stamped some of these cute Pure Innocence images from Jodi (stampingalatte) and I knew they would be perfect for this card.

I started with a card base of Cool Caribbean, White and Paper Trey Ink's Berry Sorbet & Lemon. I embossed the layers with my CB Swiss Dots folder. My image, Pure Innocence for My Favorite Things..My Balloon was stamped onto White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento Ink and then colored with copics.

I layered my image and used dimensionals. I also used my scallop edge punch for the middle layers and used white taffeta ribbon and blue polka dot ribbon. I am so happy with how this card came out, I think it is very girlie and the colors are so bright!

Thankful For Friends

Happy Wednesday afternoon!! I am so happy to share these cards with you today.

Each one of these cards is for a dear friend who were both very thoughtful. One friend gave us the cutest picture frame for our sonogram pictures and the other friend brought over a slew of maternity clothes for me to go through. Both acts mean so much to me!!

I just love this floral image from Sweet Pea by There She Goes and though I would use both for each card as well as the same layouts just different color combo's.
The first color combo I used was Lemon by PaperTrey and Cool Caribbean and the second is Groovy Guava and Certainly Celery. I used my Swiss Dots CB embossing folder as well as my circle nessties. The images were stamped with Tuxedo Black and colored with copics.

I Love You Beyond Measure

Well May is such a busy month for me that I decided to get an early start on all the cards I would need. I thought this one might make a cute Mother's Day card.

I started with a card base of Berry Sorbet by Paper Trey Ink and Very Vanilla. My DP is Beloved by My Mind's Eye and my sketch is a Verve sketch from last August.

My image is from Chemistry by There She Goes and I stamped the same image three time in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto Choice Butter Cream cardstock and colored with my copics. I cut them out using my circle nesstie and then added Glossy Accents to make the jars look like glass. I stamped my sentiment onto the middle circle and used my CB to emboss the bottom layer.

When I Said "I Do"...

Hi everyone!! So I spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon with my pal Jodi Collins (Stamping A Latte) for some much needed girls & stamping time! I had so much fun and this cute creation is one of the cards that came out of that time.

I made this card for my husband for our Anniversary which is May 1. I think it is just perfect as the laundry in our house always seems to be at max capacity, actually I have a load drying and washing right now!

I started with a card base of Old Olive, White and Chocolate Chip. My DP is Bloom & Grow by My Minds Eye. I thought the colors were so nice and could be used for a masculine card. My image is from a favorite set of mine, so thanks for letting me borrow Jodes, Loads of Fun by There She Goes.

I started by stamping the image with Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with Copics. Then I cute it out with a rectangle nesstie and bordered it with a scallop rectangle nesstie. I also paper pieced the boxer shorts. Now comes the AWESOME part...Jodi got that same afternoon her new Copic Airbrushing system and we airbrushed the sky- it was so much fun!! I used her bow maker to create the perfect bow with the chocolate chip ribbon and a nesstie tag for the sentiment and again airbrushed the tag to match the image. I hope my hubby likes this!!

You Make The Simple Things Special

Happy Thursday!! The sun finally came out today here in NY and it felt so nice and warm!

Here another "general" card! I am so happy that I am building up this little collection, that way come May when I have a million holidays going on I will be prepared!

I started with a card base of Summer Sun and Very Vanilla. Again my DP was part of the pack from my last card and once I get the name i will update...sorry!

My image and sentiment are both from Paper Pretties and I stamped it with Tuxedo Black Ink by memento Ink onto Choice Butter cream cardstock and colored with my copics. I used Shimmers on the leaves and grill of the watering pail and used Glossy Accents to give the look of faux water. I used my circle nessties to cut the image out and layered with dimensionals. I made a corner knot with red sheer ribbon from Michael's and used my red copic and added dots to the corners.

You Make Me Happy

Ahhh it's Wednesday night, the weekend is almost here along with the warm sunny weather!

I have stuck to my guns and am continuing to make cards that are more general and can be used for a variety of occasions. I must say that I just adore this card...the image is too cute.

I started with a card base of Old Olive and Very Vanilla. I got the DP as a gift so I'm not sure who it is by but I will find out and update...I just loved it though. My image is Meredith the Tea Cup Girl by Stamping Bella. I thought she was going to be hard to color but she really wasn't. She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I used Memento ink in Melon and sponged the background to blend in with the DP.

Once again I used a rub on for the sentiment, I have really found a new life in these. I also used some shimmerz on the butterflies.

Happy Day

So happy Friday everyone!!! So I must say that I am probably just as shocked as you to see a new card up but late yesterday afternoon I went to switch some laundry and I thought I was going to proceed upstairs as usual when all of a sudden I had this pull towards my stamps and I put this card together in no time. Maybe the baby used the Jedi mind trick on me-lol!

Because I have depleted my card stash so much these past few months I really need some general cards that can be used for a variety of occasions. I thought today's could be used for a birthday or mothers day or just inspiration.

I started with a card base of basic Black, White and Groovy Guava. I ran my GG through my CB embossing folder. My DP is Recipe Box by October Afternoon. My image is Camille by The Greeting Farm and she was a limited release digi. I used my copics to color her, she is so fancy!! My sentiment is a rub on by SU as are my white and groovy guava ribbon. Just a simple card. Have a great weekend!!

Sorry I've been missing

Hi everyone!

As some may have noticed I have not posted in quite a while. To be honest I haven't stamped in quite a while. But I do have a good reason.....my husband and I are having a baby!! It is our first one so we are very excited, but since we found out in mid February I do nothing but sleep!!! My stamping has taken the biggest brunt of the toll..lol! I have missed you all, and missed seeing everyone's work. I'm hoping that my mojo will return with a gusto! Wishing you all a happy spring!!

xoxo

SSSC58...Thinking of You

Good Monday afternoon!! Hope the weekend was kind to everyone, I spent Saturday having lunch with an old friend and then hitting the movies to finally see Avatar with the hubby. Sunday was just a day of hanging around waiting for the USA vs. Canada hockey game to start.

I used the sketch from Karen Giron's (The Sweetest Thing) Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC58.

I started with a card base of Lemon and White by PaperTrey Ink and my DP Hippity Hoppity by We R Memory Keepers. My stamp set is Trendy Trees by Stamping Up.

I used my square punches and stamped the tree trunks and then stamped the leaves onto a seperate piece of white cardstock and used my circle nessties to cut them out and then poped them up on dimensional. I also rock and rolled by leaves in Pink Passion and Certainly Celery Ink by Stamping Up. The last two things I added were the white ribbon and the green sugar coated brads.

Enjoy!!

SSSC56 Greetings!

Good Saturday morning!!! Hope you are all having a wonderful start to your weekends! I have plans to have lunch with an old friend today so I am looking forward to that!

It snowed all day yesterday here in NY so I was able to spend my time crafting!! Even though this is a more complicated layout than I usually attempt I surprisingly had fun putting this card together and I love the finished product.

My layout is the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge from two weeks ago, SSSC56. over at Karen Giron's blog The Sweetest Thing. I started with a card base of Night of Navy, one of my favorite colors ever. My DP is Marrakech by Basic Grey, I just love the blues and greens in this paper. I also matched it with White and Ocean Tides cardstock, both by PaperTrey Ink.

My image is Dressy Ebony by The Greeting Farm and she was one of the limited digital releases that they had in December. She was printed onto White cardstock and colored with my copics. I have to say that this is the first time that I made her hair a color other than black and think she is too cute!! I used my circle nesstabilites to cut and layer, added the white ribbon underneath and then stamped the sentiment, which is from Mailbox Greetings by PaperTrey Ink, in the right corner.

Karen thanks for a great sketch and hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Bellarific Friday... Just Chillin'

Happy Bellarific Friday my friends!!! Can't believe that I have gotten another card done, I think my mojo is started to come back...yeah!! Another great challenge by Stamping Bella, all the details can be found over at blogabella.

I started with a card base of Ocean Tides by PaperTrey Ink and Choice Buttercream. My DP is the ever delightful My Beloved by My Mind's Eye. I just picked up two sheets at the stamp store a few weekend's ago. This weeks challenge was in honor of the Winter Olympics and I thought, who better to use than miss fabulous Snowbunnybella. Can't you just picture her at all the events and hanging in the lodge?

Bella was stamped onto Choice Buttercream cardstock in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I used my Shimmerz in Candle Light to give a little sheen to her fur on the coat, hood and boots. I used my CB embossing folder for the circles on the bottom layer and added the bows with my Sahara Sand ribbon by SU. my sentiment is from the TSG set Penguin Love. Thanks so much for checking her out and have a great day!!

Best Wishes

Wow it has been so LONG since my last post, my mojo just wasn't there so I took a break. Hope all is well with everyone and happy Tuesday!!!

My card today actually came together over the past two weeks, my image was stamped and colored first and then just put to the side and then finally last Saturday I put it all together. Now I am finally getting it uploaded- talk about dragging out the process!

I started with a card base of Pale Plum and White. My DP is Cherrywood Lane by Heidi Grace. My image is Teddybella by Stamping Bella and I have had her for at least two years now and this is the first time I inked her up.

She was stamped onto White cardstock in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with my copics. I used my circle nessites for both the image layer and to create the scalloped border. The last two things I added were the white taffeta ribbon and the my self created sugar coated brads. i made the brads by first taking plain white brads and coloring them with my copic, then covered them in dazzling diamonds.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and hopefully I will get another card done sooner!

Bellarific Friday XOXO

Ahh is Friday and the weekend is upon us!! So once again there was a terrific Bellarific Friday challenge over at blogabella! This week's theme was Valentine's Day!

I decided to go with a non traditional color combo and image for my card and I think it still works great!

I started with a card base of Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla, both by SU. My awesome zig zag DP is Porcelain by Basic Grey and the shaded DP is lemonade by Basic Grey. Its great how both patterns coordinated so well!

My image is Matilda Muffinbread by Stamping Bella and she is delivering a yummy Valentine's Day treat! She was stamped onto Choice Buttercream cardstock in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I sponged her wings in Cantaloupe by Memento Ink to pick up the yellow in the DP and then added Dazzling Diamonds for some VD sparkle!!

I kept the sentiment very simple and it is from Chemistry by There She Goes, awesome set, and I added two tiny twinkles by Taylored Expression's. The polka dot ribbon is Dark Chocolate from Paper Trey Ink.

Have a great Friday!!!

Sweet 16

Well it's a snowy Wednesday morning, so glad that I do not have to go out and I can stay in the house all warm with Peanut!

So I have my cousin's Sweet 16 next weekend and I wanted to make her a dazzling card in honor of this milestone! Because I had this vision of lots of sparkle and bows and so I think it just threw me off cause nothing was coming together. I was having issues with the layout and colors and so on.

I knew I wanted to use the light blues cause her color theme is "Tiffany" Blue. So i stated with a card base of Soft Sky and White. My DP is by Heidi Grace called It's My Party and I just picked it up yesterday at AC Moore. I decided to stamp "Sweet 16" on a Label 9 Nesstie, sponged soft sky on the inside part and then embossed it with my Swiss Dots CB folder. The final touch was two tiny twinkles by Taylored Expressions. My sentiment is a combo using the "sweet" from So Very by SU and the "16" from a number set I bought in the dollar bin a while back.

The panel under the sentiment is again a piece of Soft Sky and I used my scalloped edge punch on both sides. I layered another piece of White that again I embossed with Swiss Dots. I used two ribbons, my soft sky and white taffeta and created a double bow for extra pop. I also created my own sugar coated brads by taking two white brads and coating them in dazzling diamonds for birthday bling. In the end the sparkling brads and double bow really helped to make it fancier and fun so I am pleased with the final product!

SSSC55 & C4C23 Chemistry Between Us

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!! It's Superbowl Sunday to be exact and that means lots of eating later today!!!

Ok so here is my card for two great challenges. The sketch is today's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC55, over at Karen Giron's blog The Sweetest Thing. The other challenge is the Valentine's Day theme this week from Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C23. Both challenges were FANTASTIC!!

I started with a card base of Barely Banana and Very Vanilla, both by Stamping Up. My delightfully sweet DP is Lemonade by Basic Grey. My image is from the new There She Goes Set Chemistry, and I just LOVE it!! I'm having issues uploading the site for the store so I linked their blog. My image and sentiment were stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto Choice Buttercream cardstock and colored with copics. I then used by circle Nessties to cut it out and create a scalloped border. I used my piercing tool to pierce the scallops. After I glued everything down and added the Regal Rose Ribbon and brads I added stickels in Crystal color to the heart and rims of the jars as wells as glossy accents to make them look like real glass.

Here is a close up: I am so happy with how this card came out and I love the sentiment with the image. Great sketch Karen and I love the Valentine's Day theme.

Love Potion #9

Happy Saturday to you all!!! Super Bowl weekend is hear and I do not know who I want to route for! Must say that I am glad that I woke to only flurries this morning and not tons and tons of snow as predicted. I love today's card because of the colors and the simple layout. I am still adding to my Valentine's stash and I think this one is a real cutie!

I started with a card base of Poppy by Paper Trey Ink and Very Vanilla by Stamping Up. My striped DP is the fabulous Kitchen Spice by Bo Bunny, I just LOVE this paper.

My image and sentiment are both from the brand new set Chemistry by There She Goes. I absolutely ADORE this set! The images and sentiment are so great and funny, it was just one of those sets that I HAD to have. My image was stamped in Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream cardstock and then colored with copics. I also added Shimmerz to the bottle in candle light to give a nice sheen. I then sponged the edges in Cantaloupe.

The center panel was embossed with Swiss Dots and layered onto another panel of Poppy with the scalloped edge. The final touches were the sheer polka dot ribbon and brads. I kept the layout simple to accentuate the image! Have a great weekend!!

Bellarific Friday Hugs & Kisses

Happy Friday!!!! Getting ready for more snow this weekend here in NY!

Here is my card for this week's Bellarific Friday challenge. This week Emily gave us a great sketch challenge which you can find over at blogabella. I wanted another card that could be used for Valentine's Day so I went with the pinks and flowers!

I started with a card base of Ruby Red, White and Pretty In Pink. My DP is Blush by Basic Grey. This DP is so romantic and whimsical to me.

My image is the adorable Charlotte Ketto by Stamping Bella. She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I used my oval and scalloped oval punches to frame her. I used my black copics to add the dots in the scallops. I added the ribbon and brads and my sentiment is by Paper Pretties!

Sealed With A Kiss

Good Sunday Morning!! It is a bitterly cold one here in NY but tomorrow is February 1 and I am excited as this is one of my favorite months during the year! Just in case you couldn't tell by the new look of my blog I just LOVE Valentines Day and having the everything decorated with all the cute things, what can I say I'm an old fashioned romantic through and through!

That being said I think my card for today fits that bill! I started with a card base of Always Artichoke and White. I found this great DP at AC Moore a few weeks back and thought it was so cute and perfect for either a masculine or feminine card. The DP is Mr. Campy by Cosmo Cricket, I just love this plaid!

My image is Autumn Ian by The Greeting Farm. My BFF Jodi (stampingalatte) actually stamped me this image a while ago. I colored him with copics and then sponged the edges with Cantaloupe by Memento Ink to blend it all in. My sponging never looks soft though. I then layered him onto Always Artichoke as well as added two Always Artichoke brads to the corner. The AA ;layer under him was run through my Cuttle Bug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder to give the layer some texture. I thought the ribbon was the perfect accent color as there is one rust stripe in the plaid of the DP.

I didn't know what sentiment to match up with Ian but then I found this cute one by Paper Pretties. I though it was so cute the "Sealed With A Kiss" and perfect for a boy to a girl. I colored the heart with my copic so they would pop out and really show the difference between the letters. See I always show my hubby the finished product and at first the hearts where not colored and her thought the sentiment said "Swak" so I had to explain that it was an abbreviation and then decided to color the hearts-LOL!!! He did like the card though :)!

C4C21 & MOJO123 I Love You

Good Wednesday morning everyone!!! It's getting chilly here again in NY but the sun is shining and there isn't a cloud in the sky so not a bad way to wake up! I wanted to get this post up before I head out to my morning yoga class. I just started last week and I must say that I love it! It really helps me to relax and be more focused.

Ok so on to the important business of the day....my card! This card is for two of this weeks challenges. The "pink" theme is for the Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C21 and the sketch is for this week's Monday Mojo, MOJO123 which was either a circle or square card, I went with the square.

I started with card base of Ruby Red and White. My Dp's are both Girl Friday by Cosmo Cricket. I just love this paper! My image is one of the adorable Hugabugg's, mine being Lovebeetle by Stamping Bella. The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with Copics.

I layered the image onto another piece of Ruby Red cardstock. Hard to see in the photo but I added stickels in Crystal color to the wings and boxes as wells as Glossy Accents to the white part of the tires. My ribbon is SU white satin ribbon and then as per the sketch my corner accents are pink prima's. I have not used these in so long so I wasn't sure if they would work. I think they do work, just not sure that I like how I layered the right corner ones, they are sort of all on top of each other. I fastened them on with Regal Rose brads.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

You Make My Heart Dance

Happy Monday!! It was a nasty, nasty day here in NY and of course I had to run around all day in the pouring rain and wind. Well I was finally able to finish this card, I only started it on Friday!

I started with a card base of River Rock and White. My DP is an old fav, Ginger Blossom by SU. I just love the colors in this paper and I am so glad I still have some left!

My image is the adorable Avery Lollipop, by Stamping Bella
She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I layered her onto both River Rock and Ruby Red card stock. My sentiment is from Paper Pretties and I thought it was just perfect for this cutie. Ribbon is a pinkish/goldish ribbon that I got so long ago in Michael's dollar bin. I used my scallop edge punch and copic to add dots.

C4C20 Look Out World...

Hope your week is going well! Oh what a day! I am fighting a cold and have started taking Yoga classes and heading back to the gym and man am I soar!!!

This is my card for this week's sketch over at Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C20. Since I am not working at the moment, I have been trying to keep up with challenges by coloring new images at night and then putting the cards together the next day.

I started with a card base of Regal Rose, Basic Black and Whisper White all by SU. My alphabet DP which I just got yesterday at AC Moore is Girl Friday by Cosmo Cricket, I just LOVE it and new immediately it would look cute with this image.

Ah yes my image, this sweet heart is Betty The Bookworm by Stamping Bella. She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by memento Ink onto White cardstock and colored with copics. I added some stickles to the heart on her shirt. My sentiment is from Paper Pretties and I thought it was so cute for her. I used my oval punches on the sentiment and added a strip of regal rose ribbon and two black brads.

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch, MOJO122, the only thing is I flipped the layout to fit my image.

I started with a card base of Ruby Red, one of my all time favorite SU colors, and White. I used two DP's for this card. The first DP is by Karen Foster and it is called Cakewalk and it displays all kinds of yummy birthday treats. My second DP is by Cosmo Cricket and it is the Girl Friday and simple polka dots.

My image, and sentiment, is the ever adorable Mismatch Ketto by Stamping Bella. She was stamped in tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto White cardstock and colored with Copics. I then punched the image out with my scalloped oval punch and then sponged Cantaloupe by Memento Ink on just the scallops for dimension. I added two silver brads and white ribbon.

SSSC52 & TSG38 XOXO

Happy Monday, hope you all had a nice weekend and hopefully you also got the extra day off!!

Today's card combines two challenges. First it is this week's, and my first, Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge from Karen Giron (the sweetest thing)
SSSC52. I have been wanting to try one for a while and decided that I was just going to go for it!

The second challenge comes from Jodi Collins (Stamping A Latte) and she is featured trendsetter of the week on the There She Goes blog. Her challenge was a color challenge of Red, Aqua and Pink.

I had this image colored from Friday and thought it would go perfectly, even though there is some yellow in there. I started with a card base of Poppy by Paper Trey Ink and White. My DP is Lemonade by Basic Grey.

The image and sentiment are Sending My Love by There She Goes and they were stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I added the SU red ribbon and American Crafts brads in Cherry. Thanks for two great challenges!!

Bellarific Friday and MTSC56

Happy Friday!!! Here is my card for this week's Bellarific Friday challenge, which was to create a "Lovey Dovey" card. You can check out all the details and creations at Blogabella .

I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to ink up my new Peekaboo Bella and I used Mercy's sketch from this week, MTSC56.

I started with a card base of Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. My DP is "Sweet Chatter" and I found it at the craft store over the weekend, unfortunately most of the cute saying got covered but I'm sure I will use it again.

My Bella was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto Choice Buttercream cardstock. I colored her with copics, paper pieced the dress hanging in the armore added the Regal Rose Ribbon and brads. The sentiment comes with this image and I think it is so cute and lovey dovey for my hubby's Valentines Day card.

SC258 I Only Have Eyes For You

Happy Thursday!!! I just love making cards for Valentine's Day- it is my favorite holiday. The colors are so pretty and the whole day is dedicated to telling the special people in your life how much you love them!!

This card came together backwards. I had first colored my image last night and then tonight found a layout that I wanted to use, an old SCS sketch, SC258.

I started with a card base of SU Creamy Caramel, Whisper White and Pretty In Pink. I embossed the pink layer with my Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder. My DP is Basic Grey's Bittersweet which I knew would go perfectly after I had colored her.

My image is by The Greeting Farm, and she is Savannah Anya. Unfortunately I think she has been retired so I'm lucky my good pal Jodi (stampingalatte) gave me a few images. I colored her with my copics. My sentiment comes from paper Pretties and I thought it was just right for two reasons: 1. it was cute for Valentine's Day 2. look at the size of her eyes, they are so big!

I used white brads, pretty in pink ribbon and white ribbon for my accessories and then took my pink copic and added dots to the corner of my image layer just to fill up the white space.

MOJO 121 You Always Measure Up!

Happy Monday everyone!!! Here is my card for today's mojo sketch, MOJO 121. I had a lot of fun with this one!!

I started with a card base of Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla. I got this neat DP from the craft store this past Saturday with Jodi (Stampingalatte). I didn't really have any kiddie paper and I thought this would be perfect!

This super cute image is Leila Always Measure Up, by Stamping Bella. She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto Choice Buttercream card stock and colored with copics.

I couldn't find my corner rounder punch so I used my SU ticket corner punch. I used my circular nessties for the sentiment and added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles. I finished with soft suede ribbon.

Be Happy It's...TWI-DAY!!

So not only is it Friday but it's also Twi-Day!!! This is the awesome Twilight themed challenge sponsored by Jodi Collins over at Stamping A Latte .

For my card I pulled a Twilight reference from the flower in my image. They reminded me of the flowers that Bella describes when her and Edward go to the meadow for the first time.

"I reached the edge of the pool of light and stepped through the last fringe of ferns into the loveliest place I had ever seen. The meadow was small, perfectly round and filled with wildflowers- violate, yellow and soft white"

This description just made me want to make these flowers just pop. My sketch for this card is also Mercy's sketch this week, MTSC55.

I started with a card base of Barely Banana and White. My DP is the fabulous Kitchen Spice by Bo Bunny. My image is Gratty Tude by Stamping Bella, I have been on a real roll lately with them! She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto white card stock and colored with copics. I cute the image with my circle nesstabilities and then sponged just the edge with Memento Ink in Cantaloupe. I just ADORED this sentiment when I first saw it. I wanted to start 2010 with a more positive attitude and this sentiment just inspired me. I also added some glossy accents to her shoes for a patent look and then the final touches were the sheer/satin ribbon and some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles.

Bellarific Friday and MOJO 120

Happy Friday!!! I am so excited, the first Bellarfic Friday challenge of 2010!! This weeks theme was "Back to School" and you can check out all the details and creations over at Blogabella.

I knew immediately that one of my new images would be perfect for this week's them, my little cutie Spencer the Book Worm and he is one of the Green Bean Baby stamps by Ellia at Stamping Bella.

I used this weeks mojo sketch, MOJO 120. I started with a card base of Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. My DP is Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey. Spencer was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto Choice Buttercream cardstock. He was colored with copics and cut out using the circle nesstabilites.

I also used my Swiss Dots embossing folder for the middle layer. Because I forgot to get a sentiment to go with him I used one from a set called Uplifting Phrases by Verve. I thought it made the card very versatile. I cut the ribbon tag with scissors and the paper is Wild Wasabi and then fastened it with a Chocolate Clip brad.

Life Is How You Bake It

Happy New Year!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful start to 2010!!

Here is my first official card of the new year! I still have more new stamps from Stamping Bella and I am having a ball with all of them!

I started with a Card base of Chocolate Chip and Whisper White by SU. My yummy cupcake and orange DP is from Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry, I thought they were perfect with this image and sentiment.

My image is a Chichiboulie Fairy, Matilda Muffinbread. She was stamped onto white cardstock in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I cut and embossed her with my circle nessties. I also colored her wings in a very pale blue so it's hard to see and added some stickles for bling. Both my image and sentiment are by Stamping Bella. Polka Dot ribbon is by Paper Trey Ink.
