Sealed With A Kiss

Good Sunday Morning!! It is a bitterly cold one here in NY but tomorrow is February 1 and I am excited as this is one of my favorite months during the year! Just in case you couldn't tell by the new look of my blog I just LOVE Valentines Day and having the everything decorated with all the cute things, what can I say I'm an old fashioned romantic through and through!

That being said I think my card for today fits that bill! I started with a card base of Always Artichoke and White. I found this great DP at AC Moore a few weeks back and thought it was so cute and perfect for either a masculine or feminine card. The DP is Mr. Campy by Cosmo Cricket, I just love this plaid!

My image is Autumn Ian by The Greeting Farm. My BFF Jodi (stampingalatte) actually stamped me this image a while ago. I colored him with copics and then sponged the edges with Cantaloupe by Memento Ink to blend it all in. My sponging never looks soft though. I then layered him onto Always Artichoke as well as added two Always Artichoke brads to the corner. The AA ;layer under him was run through my Cuttle Bug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder to give the layer some texture. I thought the ribbon was the perfect accent color as there is one rust stripe in the plaid of the DP.

I didn't know what sentiment to match up with Ian but then I found this cute one by Paper Pretties. I though it was so cute the "Sealed With A Kiss" and perfect for a boy to a girl. I colored the heart with my copic so they would pop out and really show the difference between the letters. See I always show my hubby the finished product and at first the hearts where not colored and her thought the sentiment said "Swak" so I had to explain that it was an abbreviation and then decided to color the hearts-LOL!!! He did like the card though :)!
