Smile
Happy early New Year's!!!!! So I think this might be my favorite card ever, I just adore this image as she totally reminds me of myself....I'm great at washing the laundry but man do we have baskets upon baskets of unfolded clothes in my house!
This is a busier card than normal for me but I was just having too much fun with it so I couldn't help myself with the accessories-LOL!!!
I started with a card base of Dusty Durango by Stamping Up and Summer Sunrise by Paper Trey Ink. My DP is the ultra fabulous Kitchen Spice by Bo Bunny, I am SO in love with this paper I can not even contain myself!!
My image is HG-Laundry by The Greeting Farm and I stamped her with Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto my brand spanking new Choice Buttercream cardstock by Taylored Expressions and colored her with my copics.
The sentiment was a tricky one but I think I figured that out- LOL!! The sentiment is from Circular Sayings by Verve and I used my circle punches to layer it and then half moon it behind the panel. The final touches were the Dusty Durango polka dot ribbon, 3 Very Vanilla Brads and and two of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in orange!!
Hope you all enjoy the last few nights of 2009!

Addy 'tude Loves To Sparkle
Happy Monday, this should be a slow week and thankfully another short week thanks to New Year's!!
So yesterday was my fabulous BFF Jodi Collins, Stamping A Latte, birthday so of course I had to make a fabulous card to match and I am so excited to see her at work today to give it to her!
I started with a card base of Basic Black and White. Jodi LOVES polka dots so I picked the DP from my Stamping Up Prints Pack I.
My image is Addy 'tude Love To Sparkle by Stamping Bella, another one of my new stamps in my order. I thought that Addy was just too fabulous to pass up and I think that she is the perfect little gift to give to say that birthdays should always have a little sass! She was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink onto White Papertrey card stock. I colored her with copics, used stickels on her sash and jewels and also added some glossy accents to lenses of her glasses! I created my own "sugar coated" brads by adding dazzling diamonds to basic red brads!
The sentiment, which comes with the image, was also stamped in Tuxedo Black and I used my red copics to add the dots to the corners. The inside sentiment is Happy Birthday.
The final touch was the white satin ribbon which I used cause it is a favorite of Jodi's!! I am so happy with how this card came out and I really hope that Jodi loves it. Also if you notice my color combo is the Twilight color combo, again a favorite of Jodi's!

Yoko and Ono
Happy Saturday!!! Has everyone come down from the Christmas high?
I had placed a much needed order with Stamping Bella with my holiday gift I received form my in laws. Delightfully my stamps arrived on Christmas Eve so of course after having to put them to the side to concentrate on the family the past two days I was finally able to tear in to them today and play!!
I started with a card base of Wild Wasabi, actually my last sheet too, and Very Vanilla. My DP is Lemonade by basic Grey and my ribbon is Regal Rose by SU. My image is the Yoko and Ono Ketto by Stamping Bella. They were stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I added two Regal Rose brads and layered the cute sentiment underneath.
I just adore these two little girls and they were so much fun to color!!

Twi-Day Merry Christmas Darling
Merry Christmas!! Happy Friday!! Happy Twi-Day!!!!
So this will probably be the last Christmas card for the season and I decided to go out with a bang! I wanted to make a Christmas card for my BFF Jodi Collins and I decided that her Twi-Day challenge was the perfect combination.
I started with a card base of Basic Black and White. The next is a layer of Real Red that I embossed with the CB Swiss Dots folder. My DP is Jolly by Golly by Cosmo Cricket.
My image is on of the the limited edition digital stamps that The Greeting Farm put out a few months ago. For this card he is "Christmas Edward". He was stamped with Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with Copics. My sentiment comes from one of my all time favorite Christmas songs, Merry Christmas Darling by The Carpenters. I thought it was perfect for this card as I'm picturing Edward singing it for Jodi (LOL) , plus I sing it everyday at work for her!!! I actually typed the sentiment and then printed it out on the computer and used my circle punches. I also added some holly from Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions by There She Goes, colored the holly with copics and the berries are Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in red.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season!!!

12 Days of Sketches Week 1...Happy Birthday
Happy Wednesday!!!! I started out with good intentions for doing the 12 Days of Sketches sponsored by the The Greeting Farm, but alas I fall behind on one and I never catch up!
Annywhoo I was able to do the first Sketch and I used it for this Birthday card that I made for my Brother-In-Law.
I started with a Card base of Basic Black and White. I then used a layer of Basic Grey which was embossed with my CB "Happy Birthday" folder. My DP is from Ambrosia by Basic Grey, I just LOVE this paper!
I used my scallop oval punch on some Ruby Red and my oval punch on White. I stamped two presents from Stamping Up's set Sleigh Full of Toys and colored them with Green Copics and added Star Bust Stickles to the bows. I added black brads and Grey taffeta ribbon. I also used my black copic marker and added dots to the scallops and circle punches for the sentiment and I also added one of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles by Taylored Expressions.

You Rock My World
I started with a card base of Lavendar Lace and Basic Black. I wanted a real funky looking DP to match my image and sentiment and I found this shimmery silver DP.
My image Ebony is from the The Greeting Farm and it was one of the limited edition digital stamps they released in November- now they have a new one where she is all dressed up in a dress and flower in her hair! She was printed on White card stock and colored with Copics and layered onto Elegant Eggplant. I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles by Taylored Expressions to the corners and black brads on the side panel and glossy accents to the design on her shirt.
Now for my sentiment! Again I have had this set, Uplifting Phrases by Verve, for the longest time and just never found the right time to use it until now, actually I knew immediately that this was the sentiment I wanted for this card-LOL!!! First I cute out the White with my circle nesstie, then sponged some Lavendar Lance and Elegant Eggplant while it was still in the nesstie and then stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink. I used my scallop circle nesstie for the boarder and added another tiny twinkle.

Bellarific Friday....Happy New Year
I started out with a card base of Bravo Burgundy and White. My DP is Basic Grey Lemonade and I used white sewing thread. My Bella is Winobella by Stamping Bella and she was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento Ink and colored with copics. I added stickels to the top of her dress and glossy accents to my Champagne Bottle and glasses which of course if perfect for New Year's!
I didn't have much room for a sentiment so I just sort of slid it in under the second layer. I also added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in pink. Cheers!!
"Twi-day" MOJO117 Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Ok this is my card for Twi-day sponsored by Jodi Collins. It is her Friday/Twilight inspired challenge and you can find all the info along with her weekly card at her awesome blog Stamping A Latte
I combined my Twi-day card with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, MOJO117. I started with a card base of Kraft and White. My DP is an old SU DP Wintergreen, I really thought it had the perfect touch of masculinity for my "Jacob" themed card. My image was one of the limited release digital stamps by The Greeting Farm and his name is Joseph a/k/a Jacob Black. I colored him with Copics and cut him out with my circle Nesttie and then layered him on a circle and scalloped circle nesstie. I also used one of my green copics to add dots to all the scallops just for more texture. My sentiment is from the Artful Inkables Fictionally Inspired set and I used my word window punch to pop it out since the pattern on the paper was too busy to see if I stamped it directly on.
Hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for great challenges guys!!

Praying For You
Ok so this is a more serious card for today. I know that we are in the midst of the holiday season and joy is all around but unfortunately sometimes real life creeps in and I needed to make a sympathy card for a friend.
I have never really needed one before so I wasn't too sure what to do. I did know that I didn't want too much bling or bows so I think I kept it appropriate yet uplifting.
I started with a card base of Summer Sunrise and White by Paper Trey. My DP is Indian Summer by Basic Grey and that really was my inspiration piece which I based the card around. I sponged the center layer of white card stock with Chocolate Chip ink and then stamped the flowers from Pocket Silhouettes by Stamping Up in Bravo Burgundy. My ribbon is Stamping Up Chocolate Chip taffeta.
I was torn on the sentiment, I do not have too many that work for sympathy but in the set Circular Sayings by Vere there is both "Praying For You" and "Thinking Of You" and I just felt that the one I chose was more appropriate as my friend and her family have been in my thoughts since her fiance passed away a few weeks ago. I hope this card will brighten a day for her and let her know that her friends are here.

C4C15 Warm Hugs
Happy Monday!!! This is my card for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges Week 15, C4C15. The theme for this weeks card was Snowmen or Snowflakes. I decided that I wanted a non holiday winter card. I also went with a monochromatic look, which at the beginning was not really my intention but it just seemed to work- I don't use green to often.
I started with a card base of Wild Wasabi layered with Very Vanilla. My DP's are both Jolly By Golly by Cosmo Cricket and they feature the all the snowflakes. My image is one of my favs, and she is Snowbunnybella by Stamping Bella. She was one of my very first Bella's and I still get a kick when I use her.
I stamped my Bella in Memento Ink Tuxedo Black onto Very Vanilla and then colored her with copics. I used Star Dust stickels on all the fur trims and Crystal Stickels to create faux snow under her boots. I pierced a boarder around the image and popped her up on dimensionals. I used my oval punches for my sentiment and added two of Taylor's Twinkles. I also used two Very Vanilla brads on top.
Hope you all have a wonderful week, I still have so much Christmas shopping to do!!!

Sleigh Full of Toys
I made this card the other night, I don't love- actually I think it's kind of cheesy. There's a lot going on and I think that is what is distracting me. Anyway I always wanted to try this stamp set, which is Sleigh Full of Toys by Stamping Up, and color it with my Copics. I think the next time I play with it I will keep the colors for the boxes down to just 2 colors so it has a more organized look. I also added just a few of Taylor's Twinkles to the gifts, they are hard to see. I added some Stickles to the bottom of the sleigh to give the effect of snow.
My sentiment is in the Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions set by There She Goes and I used my circle punches and another Twinkle in green for the center of the poinsettia. My DP is all Jolly by Golly by Cosmo Cricket.

MTSC50 Friendship Never Melts Away
Happy Tuesday!! Hope everyone had a great holiday last week. I've been MIA for a few days, not feeling too well but I was able to finally finish this card that I started last week when I colored this adorable Autumn Anya but The Greeting Farm.
I used Mercy's sketch for this week and just really quickly laid it all together. My DP is Jolly by Golly-Smitten Mitten and the Regal Rose layer I created my own DP by stamping snowflakes from Stick Together by There She Goes in the same color. My sentiment is also from this set.
I stamped my Anya with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and colored her with copics. I also added twinkles by Taylored Expressions to the bottom.

Twilight Tuesday Blog Hop
The inspiration for my card is Bella & Alice’s bond/friendship which starts in the Twilight but really takes off in New Moon, it is such a pivotal part. For my card I used Wednesday’s SCS Sketch Challenge, SC255, I just flipped it so that I could fit my lovely ladies!
I started with a card base of Dusty Durango layered with Whisper White and Basic Gray, which I embossed with my CB Distressed folder. My butterfly DP is Ambrosia by Basic Grey and is layered on Ocean Tides by Paper Trey Ink.
My girls are Camille and Ebony a/k/a “Bella & Alice” and they were two of the limited edition digitals that were available at the beginning of the month from The Greeting Farm. They were both colored with copics and also layered on Ocean Tides cardstock. I used some Glossy Accents on skull on Alice’s t-shirt. My sentiment was typed and printed from the computer. The satin ribbon knot and crystal butterfly give the perfect vintage touch and in my opinion are just enough to satisfy Alice’s haute couture desire.
Hope you are enjoying the hop, your next stop is Makeesha Byl so have fun!!!

Trim The Tree
This is a card that has been in the making for so long that it is no surprise to me that I am not happy with how it came out. I fell in love with this Tree DP and immediately grabbed the last polka dot sheet from my SU Prints pack and then the two of them sat to the side for weeks. I never got around to doing anything with it until Monday night and I just don't like the finished product. I wasn't going to post it but I haven't had any new cards up in a few days so against my better judgment here it is!
I started with a card base of Basic Black and Whisper White. Red Polka Dot DP from Prints Pack I and Christmas Tree DP. I used Paper Pretties Trim The Tree Sophia, I thought she was perfect with this DP. Red Velvet Ribbon and crystals.

MOJO 111 Snow Place Like It
Happy Sunday!!! So it was a miserable day yesterday and I think I watched about 5 movies while making this one card....what can I say I'm easily distracted.
I just adore this set, Penguin Love, by There She Goes. I used an old Mojo sketch, MOJO 111, for the layout. I started with a card base of Aqua Mist by PaperTrey and Whisper White by SU. I embossed the White with my CB Swiss Dots. My DP is Jolly By Golly by Cosmo Cricket, which Jodi gave me a few sheets of, thanks!!
My image was stamped in Tuxedo Black by Memento on White by PaperTrey. I masked the penguin in front of the igloo. I used a Shin Han marker to color the igloo and copics on the penguin, the hat and scarf. I also cut the hat and scarf and popped on top of the penguin. Used stickels in Crystal color for the glittery snow. My image was cut out with my circle nesstie and then I used the next size up in the nesstie and cute the layer behind but rather than use card stock I used the other side of the DP.
My sentiment was masked too, I just love the swirl, I thought it matched the scene and DP perfectly. I used my smaller circle nesstie to cut this out and used pewter brads on the side.

Official New Moon Countdown
For today's quote I skipped right to Chapter 2 and it takes place during the conversation between Carlise and Bella while he is stitching her up. They are discussing their views on her becoming a Vampire and if the situation was reversed would Bella be able to take Edwards soul as she is basically asking him to do to her as well as Carlisle's deep faith that there is an afterlife for them even if it is not the traditional one humans have. I have just started New Moon again for the 3rd time but I have always enjoyed exchanges between Carlise and Bella, I feel such a strong connection between them. Let me know what you think!

MTSC46 Hope Your Birthday Doesn't Bite
Haha....ok so I made this card for my younger brothers birthday which is tomorrow. My brother is very studious and serious and thinks that I am crazy because I am 32 years old and obsessed with Twilight which in his opinion is for 15 year old's, so I thought it would be funny to make him a birthday card with a Twilight theme...though he is serious he does have a huge sense of humor and this will crack him up.
I started with a card base of Dusty Durango and Whisper White, both by SU. My DP is Basic Grey Ambrosia and the layout is Mercy's sketch MTSC46- I can't believe I got two done in one week! My Ed "Edward" is one of the limited digital stamps by The Greeting Farm that were available last weekend. I colored him with copics and popped him out with an scalloped oval punch. I wanted to layer him but he only fit into the largest punch I had. I even broke out some hodge podge by SU for this one! The sentiment was typed on the computed and printed out cut and mounted. I must thank you Jodi for helping with the sentiment, I wanted something catchy and she rocked it for me!

MTSC45 Be Safe
How cute is my sweet Bella? I just love these special addition digital stamps by The Greeting Farm, they are just too cute- actually all the sprouts are too cute in my opinion!!
I used Mercy's sketch MTSC 245 for my layout, which believe it or not was a challenge for me only because of the scallop edge. I fight with my punch every single time I use, though I think I got it right this time since the scallops actually look round rather than pointed.
I started with a card base of Ripe Avocado by PaperTrey, I just got their assorted color pack and I must say it it heavenly! I layered Whisper White by SU and ran that through my Swiss Dots CB embossing folder. My center layer is Basic Grey Lemonade DP, I just got the 6x6 pack at the NY Stamp Show on Saturday and I was on the fence about getting it but I'm glad I did cause I do love the patterns.
My image is Camille "Bella" by The Greeting Farm and I stamped her in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored her with copics. Now I know that Edward thinks she looks best in blue but for some reason I was completely drawn to green when I went to color her coat, thus started the whole green color combo for the rest of the card. I cut her out with my circle nessties and layered on dimensionals and added the thin strip of pink satin ribbon.
I was torn on the sentiment but this one just seemed appropriate for her! The crystals were the final addition.
Hi Stamping Buddies!!
I have been MIA the past week, I have just been really busy at home, got Jury Duty yesterday and so on and so on. But anywhoo, just wanted to extend a hello, I'm hoping to get stamping tonight! I did get some new digitals that I was able to get colored over the weekend so perhaps I can get a card or two done with them! Also I went to the NY Stamp show on Saturday with Jodi Collins and Ann Kranitz, we had a blast. Also Jodi introduced us to Danielle Kennedy who she bumped into. I have put a new addition to my blog, Twilight Quote of the Day! With the approach of New Moon, ahhhhhhh so excited, I wanted to add this fun feature to keep us all inspired so remember to check back and see if your favorite gets put up. Hope you all have a great Tuesday, as usual I look forward to seeing everyone creations and hopefully I can get a few done myself this week!!

Tuesday Morning Sketch...Sisters & Chocloate
Yikes...I am so happy about this card I could just scream!! OK this is for the Tuesday Morning Sketch sponsored by There She Goes this week!!
This is my all time favorite, most loved card I have ever created!!! First I just love the sketch and am so proud of myself for actually being able to complete it..LOL!!! Second I just adore this set, How Sweet It Is by MFT, thanks Jodi for letting me borrow. Third, I am so happy with how the coloring came out. I'm still new with the Copics and it took me a while but my patience paid off!
My younger sister means the world to me and she is away at college in Washington DC and I just miss her terribly. I love this sentiment and it is so true, I just spent a few hours venting to her on the phone this past week and somehow when I'm done talking to her I just feel better!
I started with a card base of Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose. I took White card stock by PaperTrey and created my own DP by stamping Chocolate Chips with Chocolate Chip Ink (haha). My ribbon is Regal Rose Ribbon and the panels have Basic Grey Bittersweet DP.
I stamped image in Memento Ink Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with my Copics. I added some stickels to the center of the flowers on the chair. I stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip Ink again and cute that shape with scissors and added the two pink jewels.
I can't WAIT to send this to my sister!
VSOCT09A Thinking of You
Happy Sunday!! What a beautiful sunny morning here on Long Island. We had torrential down pours here last night and my basement slightly flooded from the ground on the side of my house being over saturated and flooded....luckily this slight leak was no where near my stamping area so no stamp were harmed-LOL!! Unfortunatley then the power went out for the next 6 hours so I could continue to stamp, oh well.
I did manage to finish this card before mother nature struck. This was the first Verve Sketch for the October Release, VSOCT09A. It's definitely different for me. My colors are Crushed Curry, White, Soft Suede and Purely Pom. I embossed both my White layer and the Purely Pom circle with my CB Swiss Dots. My DP is Basic Grey Lemonade. Sentiment is from Warm Words.
I also FINALLY got the OttoLite so now I don't have to go crazy trying to get the best light for my pics, I can simply turn to my left open the light and click away!!!

MTSC42 Birthday Wishes
I actually made this card fairly quickly last night, but I'm still battleing with this cold so I was just too tired to sit at the computer and get it all uploaded. I needed a quick card for a close friends birthday which is this week and I never got around to Mercy's sketch from 2 weeks ago so I figured no time better than the present.
Mercy's sketch, MTSC42, was so cool, and since I finally have circle Nessties I no longer have to pass up sketches with any size circles-LOL!! My striped DP is Basic Grey Bittersweet/Praline and the colors of this card are all focused around that. I used Regal Rose as the card base and layered it with Very Vanilla and Creamy Caramel all by SU. I Used my scallop nesstie and circle nesstie for the sides and I also used my Swiss Dots CB Embossing folder. My center panel again is the Regal Rose and Very Vanilla with a corner knot in Sahara Sand Ribbon.
I stamped my flowers from Happy Harmony by SU in Regal Rose and the stems in Always Artichoke. I added some stickles to the buds from sparkle- I think birthday cards always need extra bling. My sentiment is from Warmest Regards, again by SU, and stamped in Creamy Caramel Ink. My image layer is up on dimensionals.
This was a fun and fast one, thanks again for another great sketch Mercy!!

MTSC43 Happy Anniversary
I needed an Anniversary card for my parents, they are celebrating 45 years on October 24th. I used Tuesdays Mercy sketch for the layout, MTSC43.
I started with a card base of Soft Suede and layered Very Vanilla on top. I then took a piece of Barely Banana and stamped my Tres Chic background by SU also in Barely Banana Ink. I just that Tres Chic, it is so whimsical to me.
Using my scalloped square punch and regular square punch I made my two panels, one out of Soft Suede again and the other with Cosmo Cricket Everafter DP. I really have to make another card with that DP as these little peaks do not give you a good look at how beautiful the paper really is. My image and sentiment are both from Sealed With a Kiss by Paper Pretties. I stamped the balloons in Tuxedo black Memento Ink and colored with copics. I also used some glossy accents, shocker I know, on the balloons for shine. Ribbon is Sahara Sand ribbon and pewter brads.

TSG24 Greetings
Anywhoo I made this card tonight, while listening to my New Moon Soundtrack, for the There She Goes Challenge, TSG24, Jodi's Sketch. I was so excited that the Trendsetter of the week at There She Goes was none other than my real life BFF Jodi!!!!

MOJO108 Warm Winter Wishes
Ahhh Wednesday night....only two days of work left!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening! This is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch MOJO108. I actually flipped the sketch so that my image could fit.
I got this new Basic Grey DP this past weekend and I knew that I was ready to leave the Halloween cards behind and move onto Winter-LOL!!
I used my Gliding By Sophia by Paper Pretties with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then colored her with Copics. I used Dazzling Diamonds by SU on her ear and hand muffs for sparkle. I used Glossy Accents on her skates for a shiny finish and stickels on "glide".
I layered both Sophia and the DP, which is Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey on Rich Razzleberry. The Soft Sky layer was embossed with my swirls CB embossing folder and then layered on Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry. I snuck a strip of white taffeta ribbon in also but fought the urge to make a bow otherwise poor Sophia's face would be covered up.
My sentiment is from Mailbox Greetings by PaperTrey and I used my oval punches. I also added two jewels for extra bling.
